Día de Muertos teaches us to remember those who are no longer in the physical plane. Fiesta de Muertos begins one night earlier, on October 31st, with a celebration of endings in all their forms — of what was, what remains, and what is ready to become something else.
Last year, we opened this tradition by bringing our worlds together for the first time. This year, we return to Brooklyn, New York, in a more intimate form as Mayan Warrior, Maxa and the Zero community come together again.
For one night, Sela V Hotel becomes a world within a world, an altar within an altar, carrying the energy of our roots into the present.
A night to honor what came before us, what has passed through us, and what is still here — through beats, music, diversity, Hispanic arts, sounds, and mucho sabor.

Sela V Hotel, 29 Ryerson St, Brooklyn, NY 11205, across Flushing Ave from the Navy Yard. Saturday, October 31, 2026. Doors open at 6PM and the night runs late into Sunday. Arrival details and entry instructions go to ticket holders and hotel guests the week of the event.
How do I get there?
The nearest subway is the G at Clinton–Washington Avs, about a 15-minute walk. The J, M and Z at Marcy Av is the closest accessible station. We recommend a car home at the end of the night.
Who’s playing?
We’re not announcing the lineup. It’s part of the treat — to discover the music without being guided by who is playing, but by what you’re feeling.
Mayan Warrior, Maxa and Zero are coming together to curate the music for the night. You know the magic and unexpected B2Bs these communities can bring.

What kind of music can we expect?
The sounds of Mayan Warrior, Maxa and ZERO. Mayan Warrior and Maxa carry theirs from Mexico City to Black Rock City and back. ZERO's comes from right here in Brooklyn.
Does a hotel room include event tickets?
No. Hotel rooms and event tickets are always booked separately. Everyone attending needs their own event ticket, hotel guests included.
How do I book a hotel room?
Use the Book a room link on this page. Rooms in our block start at $500 a night plus taxes, and they go fast.
Can event guests visit hotel rooms?
Only registered hotel guests can enter the residential floors. Hotel guests are wristbanded, and security manages movement through the building to keep it comfortable for everyone staying there.
Can I leave and come back?
[CONFIRM] Yes, as long as you keep your ticket or wristband and follow the entry procedure.
Is there an age limit?
21 and over. Bring a valid government photo ID.
What should I wear?
Dress for Día de Muertos. Black, flowers and a little gold are always right.
Are private rooms available for groups?
Yes. A limited number of private hosted rooms, separate from hotel bedrooms, start at [PRIVATE ROOM RATE] a night. Email contact@experiencezero.com for capacity and availability.
Can I get a refund?
[CONFIRM] Tickets are non-refundable. If you can no longer come, you can transfer your ticket to a friend in the Shotgun app.
